Cute Is What We Aim For

byebye CIWWAF (I'm very glad that I won't be using that acronym as much anymore)

So many band break-ups, so little time to properly mourn all of them. But in the case of Buffalo, New York's Cute Is What We Aim For break-up (due to lead singer Shaant Hacikyan's ego), a surprisingly few number of fans are actually upset. Given
that they released such a strong debut (The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch) and then came out with the highly commercial and far less creative Rotation, many fans gave up on them a while ago. But the good news is that bassist Dave Melillo is likely going to go back to his solo career, and that seems to me to be have more talent than Cute ever did.

Train

The official video can be found here.

The band that brought the radio hit of Drops of Jupiter (and lots of other songs of less popularity but equal caliber
like Meet Virginia, When I Look To The Sky, and Calling All Angels). Now Train is back with a fifth album (Save Me San Francisco) to be released October 27th, their first CD in years. But judging by the folksy first single, Hey, Soul Sister, it was worth all that wait.

"can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation?"

All Time Low

Wanna watch the best band ever to come from Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland on TV? (If the catchy choruses of All Time Low aren't enough of a reason to watch, keep in mind that they are quite possibly the ONLY band from Lutherville-Timonium that you will ever get the chance to see on TV.) All Time Low is performing the song Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't) from their new album, Nothing Personal, get ready to sing along.

Warped Tour In Theaters

The 15th anniversary of Vans Warped Tour isn't gonna go down without a bang. After completing the coast-to-coast tour of the U.S., Warped Tour is coming to movie theaters as a one-night only event. (Sources say 3oh!3, The All-American Rejects, The Aggrolites, Bad Religion, Blink 182, Ice-T, Katy Perry, NoFx, Ozomatli, Pennywise, The Decaydance All Stars, Rise Against and Underoath will be part of it.) Whether you are a Warped veteran or never gotten around to seeing it, this two-hour event is something that you don't want to miss if you like live (well - almost live) music. Participating theaters will be showing it Thursday, September 17.
